AVK developed the AVK Assist app to manage network resources by mapping and controlling them on site and back at the office.
App AVK Assist
The application is designed to allow easy asset tracking and data sharing about assets in the field. It can be used on both iOS and Android phones. The application consists of four features:
- AVK Insight
- AVK Toolbox
- AVK 3D
- About AVK
With AVK Insight you can quickly monitor resources in a simple and intuitive way. AVK valves can be tracked using the QR code on the label, while third-party equipment can be registered manually. Additionally, AVK Assist is used for the installation and configuration of AVK Smart Water products.
AVK Toolbox provides a set of tools that simplify the calculation of the main technical, energy and environmental variables.
In addition to asset monitoring, AVK Assist allows you to take a look inside AVK products with Augmented Reality (AVK 3D) functionality.
It also provides a global locator of our AVK facilities around the world to ensure you always have a contact available for support wherever you are on the planet (About AVK).
AVK Assist: Web Portal for customers
The AVK Assist customer web portal offers a map and overview of the list of all registered assets collected by the mobile application providing further resource installation details in the installation summary. The summary contains all the information entered via the QR code, and notes added by the installer such as product type, dimensions, material, GPS coordinates, operating pressure, image and any comments.
Additionally, you can easily add and assign installers to the platform. You can also export data to the AVK Assist customer web portal using a common file format (.CSV) to integrate it into existing IT systems such as GIS and operational or maintenance systems. The web portal is designed to be accessible from any device with an Internet connection including mobile phones, tablets, laptops and PCs...
Through this portal it is also possible to access BIM models of AVK products (immediately available for AVK Assist app subscribers). Building Information Management (BIM) is quickly becoming the primary design methodology in many regions.
